berry blast smoothie ••
Serves 2 or 1 generously
This low fat dairy smoothie drink is perfect as lunch on the go!
- 1 small banana - 100gms
of frozen berries 150gm - pot of low-fat yogurt,
(strawberry) - 200 ml skimmed milk
Just pop all the ingredients in the blender and whizz for 30 seconds. Tasty
berries are full of antioxidants, fibre and vitamin C, whilst the yoghurt
and milk in this smoothie give you a calcium boost without any of the fat
of full cream milk. ••
tango mango smoothie ••
Serves 2 or 1 generously
The lime in this smoothie gives you that extra lift to keep you racing through
the week ahead! - half a mango, peeled
and cubed - squeeze half a lime - 100ml
of coconut milk - small scoop of ice (optional)
Blend for approx 30 seconds. Mmmm a really creamy smoothie with a hint of
lime. Mangoes are a good source of Vitamin C and Vitamin A, both essential
as part of a healthy balanced diet. ••
banana & honey hurry hurry smoothie ••
Serves 2 or 1 generously
As the name suggests this is very quick and easy to make. - 2
ripe bananas - 2 dessert spoons of honey
- 1/2 pint semi skimmed milk or soya/rice milk
- small scoop of ice (optional) (for
a creamier version swap the ice for 3 scoops of frozen yogurt)
This is a really easy smoothie to make, with only 2 bananas to peel! Throw
it all into a blender and whizz for 30 seconds. This is a sweet and creamy
smoothie, bananas are known as a great source of potassium, good for avoiding
cramps, whilst the milk gives you an extra calcium boost. |
